Saving water is everyone’s business – and while recent rainfall has allowed an easing of restrictions , it is still important for everyone to save water.
Across South East Queensland business, industry and government agencies account for around 30% of our region’s water use.
We have now moved to Permanent Water Conservation Measures and Target 200. Business and industry remain subject to non-residential restrictions Business Restrictions and still need to play their part in saving water at work:
- Business owners and operators must achieve permanent water savings
- Employees should replicate their home water saving behaviours and audit their workplace with a simple checklist
It is the simple things that make a difference.
